Summary
The Scout Hiking Club was formed in 1992 in the town of Gabrovo as a NGO aiming at all round education of schoolchildren in the secondary course of instruction by engaging them in hiking, scouting, labour and environmental activities. The Scouts Tourist Club organizes trips, marches, expeditions and excursions throughout the Country and abroad. So far members of the club have been over 200 schoolchildren, teachers, parents and public figures.

The Scouts Tourist Club is collective member of: Bulgarian Tourist Union; Bulgarian Esperanto Union; Environmental Tuition Project; Scouts Organization; Scouts Esperanto League.
